Tri-Media re-launched Snyder’s Pretzel Eaters Club as a digital lifestyle destination built on a social networking platform. Snyder’s SharetheBestClub.com invites people to “Join the Conversation” via Facebook Connect as well as a Facebook Page. Visitors engage by sharing their best ideas on everything from food and family, to recipes and health. As an advertising vehicle, SharetheBestClub.com is “seeded” with relevant and seasonal product information, news, recipes and banner ads. During the pre-launch phase, original members of the Pretzel Eaters Club received a letter encouraging them to become online Brand Ambassadors by posting their best snack ideas and interacting heavily on the site. SharetheBestClub.com went live in January 2011.

Tri-Media developed five dynamic online games for AOL’s teen-focused online property, Cambio (www.cambio.com/cambio_games). Hosted by a talented crew of up-and-coming young celebrities, Cambio features segments on teen lifestyles, music, entertainment and more. The first of the five games was launched in October 2010 as a vehicle to generate traffic, engage visitors, encourage repeat visits and extend online interaction. To date, all five games have become an integral part of the overall Cambio experience. Cambio.com is a joint venture between AOL, Jonas Group and MGX Lab.

As agency of record for North American consumer product goods company Snyder’s of Hanover, Tri-Media negotiated an innovative media buy with The USA Network. The initiative features a product mention/integration in broadcast and online. Snyder’s products were mentioned in the plotline of the August 4 episode of the hit show Psych (view here) and they will be integrated into the plotline of a future Psych episode. Online, Snyder’s products have exclusive placement on the Psych interactive game page. Visitors to the site can play games such as the “pretzel slinger”, “pretzel football”, and more.
